The Management and Board of Directors at Otis Mutual Domestic Water Consumers & Sewage Works Association are committed to maintaining the Otis Water System with cutting-edge technology. Over recent years, the Board has diligently invested in radio read meters, with approximately 2/3 of the system now upgraded. These state-of-the-art Badger cellular meters, equipped with precision accuracy and radio transmitters, enhance water management efficiency across the system.

Streamlined Meter Reading Process

With advanced technology like the Orion Handheld, our service team efficiently reads meters without leaving their trucks. Equipped with customer data, the handheld receives accurate readings via radio signals as they drive by. After reading, data is downloaded into our billing software, updating customer accounts seamlessly.

Monitoring Water Usage

For large bills or suspected leaks, we utilize meter profiling. By obtaining computer readouts from locations, we generate detailed reports showing hourly water consumption. This tool helps alert customers to leaks and provides invaluable assistance in leak detection. Estimation of Water Bills

At Otis Mutual Domestic Water, we strive to ensure that your water billing is accurate and timely. In instances where an actual meter reading is not available, your water bill will be estimated based on the usage from the same month of the previous year. This method helps provide a fair approximation of your water consumption, ensuring that billing remains as consistent as possible.
